Raajiee Chelliah
Raajiee Chelliah is a Tamil-Canadian stand-up comedian from Montreal, now based in London. She began performing stand-up in 2021 and quickly made an impression on the Canadian comedy circuit, drawing on her experiences of family life, dating, growing up in an immigrant household and her Sri Lankan Tamil heritage.
Raajiee became the first Tamil woman to be featured as part of Just for Laughs Originals. She has since performed at Just for Laughs Montreal, Zoofest and OFF-JFL, establishing herself as an exciting and distinctive new voice in Canadian comedy.
In 2024, she opened for Dane Cook at the ComediHa! X Just for Laughs festival. She was subsequently featured in the sixth season of CBC’s The New Wave of Standup, with her episode released in 2025.

Seeing Raajiee Chelliah at Hot Comedy
Hot Comedy is a booked stand-up club in the basement of Hot Toddy’s, 48–50 Camden High Street — two minutes from Camden Town station. Bills run to four acts across two halves with a bar break, and tickets for every night are sold through DICE.
