Peter Flanagan
Peter Flanagan is an Irish stand-up comedian and writer based in London. Known for his razor-sharp joke writing, thoughtful political observations and warm, personal storytelling, he has performed at leading comedy clubs and festivals across Ireland, the UK, Europe, Australia and the Middle East.
A regular performer at London’s Comedy Store, Peter has also appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe, the Perth International Comedy Festival and Ireland’s Vodafone comedy festivals. His solo shows include Meditations and Fresh Prince of Kildare, the latter drawing on his conservative Kildare upbringing, his move to East London and his experiences with dating, drinking and meditation.
Alongside stand-up, Peter’s writing has appeared in publications including The Irish Times, The Irish Independent and The Journal. He has also contributed material to the BBC and Comedy Central.
