Lily Phillips is a British stand-up comedian, writer and performer known for her dry delivery, unapologetically frank material and sharply observed comedy about sex, feminism, relationships and modern life. She was runner-up in the 2019 Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year competition, a Funny Women finalist and a member of the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. In 2021, she reached the grand final of the BBC New Comedy Awards.
Lily is a series regular on ITV2’s The Stand Up Sketch Show, with further screen credits including Comedy Central Live, BBC Three’s Period Dramas and Channel 4’s The Joy of Missing Out. She has also appeared on BBC Radio 4’s One Person Found This Helpful with Frank Skinner and co-hosts the comedy podcast Ghastly Women with Esther Manito.
Her debut solo hour, Smut, premiered at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe before transferring to Soho Theatre and is now available to stream on ITVX. Her second hour, Crying, tackled the difficult birth of her first child and the realities of new motherhood, earning strong reviews during its 2025 Edinburgh run before also transferring to Soho Theatre.
Lily has also supported Nina Conti and Celeste Barber on tour and has continued to perform at major comedy clubs and festivals around the UK.

Hot Comedy is a booked stand-up club in the basement of Hot Toddy’s, 48–50 Camden High Street — two minutes from Camden Town station. Bills run to four acts across two halves with a bar break, and tickets for every night are sold through DICE.
