Dan Jones

Dan Jones is a British stand-up comedian based in Brighton, known for his deadpan delivery, low-energy charm and tightly written observational comedy. He began performing stand-up in 2018 and quickly made his mark on the new-comedy circuit, winning the Amused Moose Breakthrough Comedian of the Year Award in 2019. He later reached the final of the Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year 2022 and was twice nominated for the Pleasance Comedy Reserve.

His debut solo hour, This Seems Ambitious, premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2023, playing a full run at Pleasance Courtyard. The show explored love, relationships, childhood and therapy through Dan’s characteristically dry and self-deprecating style, receiving four-star reviews and being commended in the 2023 Amused Moose Comedy Awards.

Dan has also appeared at festivals including Bath Fringe, Hastings Comedy Festival and VAULT Festival, with broadcast appearances across BBC Three, BBC Radio Sussex, BBC Radio Essex and BBC Radio Gloucestershire. He is also the creator of the comedy podcast Definitely Out Of My Depth (DOOMD) and has continued developing new live material including Too Ambitious If Anything and Remontadan.
