Aakash Mehta is an Indian stand-up comedian, writer, podcaster and musician from Mumbai. Performing stand-up for more than a decade, he has built a distinctive comic voice around personal storytelling, observational humour and an irreverent curiosity about everything from family and relationships to city life, politics and anxiety. His extensive live career has taken him across India and internationally, alongside a hugely popular catalogue of stand-up online.
Aakash has released numerous stand-up shows and specials, including Life Right Now, No Smoking and Nasty, with his work attracting millions of views through his KuchBhiMehta YouTube channel. He is also a writer and producer on the comedy series Baked and appeared in the Netflix reality series Social Currency, which he went on to win. His screen work also includes an appearance in the film Dange.
Alongside stand-up, Aakash is an established podcaster. He has hosted Aakash Mehta and Friends and co-hosted Varta Lab, combining long-form conversations with the loose, spontaneous humour familiar from his live work. He is also a musician and released his debut album, What a Life, in 2022.
Aakash continues to tour extensively, with his 2026 show Relapse exploring marriage, parents, politics and the general chaos of everyday life. His work has increasingly taken him to international audiences, including performances across the UK and Europe.

Hot Comedy is a booked stand-up club in the basement of Hot Toddy’s, 48–50 Camden High Street — two minutes from Camden Town station. Bills run to four acts across two halves with a bar break, and tickets for every night are sold through DICE.
